S.O.S. Program for 9th Grade

Silver Lake Regional High School is offering depression awareness and suicide prevention training as part of the SOS Signs of Suicide Prevention Program. The program has proven to be successful at increasing help seeking by students concerned about themselves or a friend. We will implement the program with our Freshmen during one of their physics classes during the last week of February or beginning of March. At the conclusion of the training students will be administered a student screening form to identify who may be in need of additional support at that time. If you would like more information about this program please join us for a brief parent presentation in the Large Group Room at 6PM on February 6, 2017 or at 8AM on February 17, 2017.
